Pre-interview task

Context

The first focus of the new team will be working with the network to review Catalyst's vision, strategy and structure. This will mean delving into the last two years of Catalyst's work, understanding the wider context in which our work sits (which has changed a lot since Catalyst was set up in 2019), and then designing what role/activities Catalyst should focus on, and the best systems and models to support its collective effort.

There are lots of high-level and some more operational questions we'd like to find answers and co-design solutions to, by working collaboratively with the network. We have funds to pay people for their time and insight, and we'd like to build on existing data, such as audience personas and the learnings from collaborative experiments run over recent months.

Your task The task is to present one idea or approach for how to practically go about the network engagement part of this.

The network engagement activities will need to:

We'd like you to spend up to 3-4 hours preparing an idea or approach for making this possible (this could be in any format - such as a power point presentation, a written document, a hand drawn storyboard, a video, a notion page or simply you talking to us).

We'll want to know what you thought about when considering your idea or approach, understand the actual idea/approach itself and the value you think it has, and how you might go about making it a reality.

We will not be assessing you on the specifics of whether we agree with your idea and approach being a possibility or beneficial as we understand you will not necessarily have all the context you need, nor will you be penalised if you don't feel you can complete the task in the time set.

Instead through this task and the interview questions that follow we are most interested in understanding:
